Malaga is a province full of secrets. Like the wide variety of wines, for example. Or the fact that a city like Ronda has its own tequila and gin production. Not to mention the local liquors that are being elaborated in the small mountain range towns. These are without a doubt the best products to create Malaga’s tastiest cocktails.

Now you can make them yourself thanks to this activity, for which you will dispose of all the necessary equipment to make you feel like a professional bartender (shakers, jigger, bar spoon, muddler, strainer,…).

What to Expect

During the two and a half hour activity, you will be accompanied by a professional bartender, who will guide you in the elaboration of up to three cocktails that fuse tradition and innovation. On top of that, he will teach you the best tricks to make your cocktail even tastier.

As a welcome gift, you will receive a glass of sweet wine from Malaga. Throughout the activity you will be able to sample an exclusive selection of Iberian cold cuts and local cheese. An amazing way to get to know the local gastronomy while making cocktails that have the typical Andalucian taste.

This hands-on Cocktail Making Class takes place in a unique venue. A private room in a wine cellar in the centre of Malaga. A place full of history, where you will be cloaked in the local essence to make you feel like a real “malagueño”.

Throughout the activity you will also be accompanied by a person of our team that we call ‘Food Sherpa’: a passionate expert of our culture and our gastronomy. People who think that the gastronomil culture plays an important role in the history of a place and in its lifestyle. The activity can be booked in English, German, French and Spanish.

  • We are “malagueños” and love to eat! That’s why we would only take you to places that totally convince us and where we go with our friends and families. No tourist traps
  • Not all Tours are created equal. Our tours are not standardized, but a real reflection of the delicacies every season has to offer and the creativity of our chefs. We took much time and effort in designing the tours so you can enjoy delicious treats, discover hidden places and submerge in our (food) culture in local hideaways.
  • Feel welcome and like a local. We have great friendships and exclusive partnerships with restaurants, taverns and market vendor.
  • Expert foodie guides. Our guides attended a special training on Gastronomic Tourism promoted by the Provincial Council of Malaga. They truly are real professionals and experts on local cuisine!
  • Much more than wonderful food in interesting places. There’s more to it- it’s about the attitude, about getting a bit closer to our authentic culture and real people!

We want everyone to be able to discover our delicious gastronomy, so we’re delighted to provide tasty substitutions for vegetarians, dairy and gluten intolerant, pregnant or those who don’t drink alcohol…
